Tristan G. Stidham

Associate Attorney

Tristan Stidham joined Hobbs Straus as an associate in June 2023.  Prior to joining the firm, Tristan worked as a housing attorney for California Indian Legal Services and resided on his reservation in Inyo County.

Tristan is a member of the Big Pine Paiute Tribe of the Owens Valley in Eastern California.  He is originally from Ramona, California in San Diego County. Tristan is a graduate from the University of San Diego School of Law where he graduated in December 2021 (Class of 2022) with concentrations in Public Interest and Criminal Law.  While in law school, Tristan completed Clerkships with the Sonoma and Orange County District Attorneys’ Offices, was a member of the USD Mock Trial team and a volunteer at the school’s Pro Bono Legal Advocate’s Domestic Violence legal clinic.

Tristan obtained his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 2017, with a major in Political Science and concentration in History.  While at Columbia, Tristan was on the Executive Board of the Native American Council.

In his free-time Tristan enjoys watching football and basketball, trying to snowboard, fishing, and laying on a beach.
