Olga Symeonoglou joined Hobbs Straus in 2025 as an associate attorney. She is honored to advocate for Tribal Nations and is committed to promoting tribal sovereignty. Olga has advised Tribal Nations on a wide range of issues including repatriation, protection of sacred sites, the intersection of cultural and natural resources, the Indian Child Welfare Act, education, and self-determination and self-governance.
After receiving her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, Olga clerked for Judge Florence Pan on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
After clerking, Olga began her legal career in private practice where she focused on cultural heritage law and Indian law. Immediately prior to joining Hobbs Straus, Olga worked for the U.S. Department of the Interior as an Attorney-Advisor in the Solicitor’s Office, Division of Indian Affairs. In that role, she advised Departmental clients on a variety of federal Indian law matters. She also advised on the implementation of the Interagency Memorandum of Understanding Regarding the Protection of Indigenous Sacred Sites.
