Emily deLisle joined the Portland office of Hobbs Straus as an associate in 2025.
Emily received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. During law school, she was a teaching and research assistant to Professor Maggie Blackhawk and a summer law clerk at the Native American Rights Fund’s Washington, D.C. office. After graduating, she returned to NARF as a Voting Rights Fellow, where her work focused on access to the ballot and fair reapportionment in Indian country after the 2020 census.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily spent two years as a judicial law clerk to Hon. Sunshine S. Sykes (C.D. Cal.) in Riverside, California.
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys hiking and spending time with her two pet rabbits.
