White House Announces
Tribal Nations Summit for
November 30 and December 1, 2022

On Friday, October 21, 2022, the White House announced that President Biden will host the next Tribal Nations Summit on November 30 and December 1, 2022.  The Dear Tribal Leader Letter (DTLL) announcing the summit is available here.

According to the DTLL, “the Summit will feature new Administration announcements and efforts to implement key policy initiatives supporting Tribal communities.”  It also said that the summit “provides an opportunity for Tribal leaders to engage directly with officials in the highest levels of the Administration.”

Due to capacity concerns, the White House said that only one governmental representative per Tribe is able to attend the event. Registration for the event is requested by Monday, November 14, 2022. Tribal leaders can register for the summit here: wh.gov/TribalNationsSummit.  Questions about the event can be directed to TNS@who.eop.gov.
