On July 1, 2014, the Department of Interior published the attached notice in the FEDERAL REGISTER extending the comment period on the Proposed Rule which would eliminate the “Alaska Exception” from current land-into-trust regulations. The comment period, originally scheduled to end on June 30, 2014, has been extended to July 31, 2014.

May 9, 2014.
