Abby joined the Portland office of Hobbs Straus as an associate in June 2026. She received her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law in 2024.
While in law school, Abby worked as an Indigenous Justice intern at the ACLU of Northern California where she focused on education, land return, and protection of sacred sites. She also interned at California Indian Legal Services in Bishop, CA, and at Root & Rebound, where she conducted reentry legal clinics for Tribal communities in Northern California. During her third year of law school, Abby served as Treasurer of UC Davis’s Native American Law Students Association and received the first-place award in the National NALSA Writing Competition for her Note on Public Law 280 and Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Abby worked as a staff attorney at Northwest Justice Project. Outside of the office, Abby enjoys hiking, trail running, reading, and exploring Portland with her dog.
