Gwendolyn A. Bell

Associate Attorney

Gwendolyn A. Bell joined Hobbs Straus as an associate in August 2023. She received her Juris Doctor, as well as Certificates in Indian Law, and Health Law and Policy from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (ASU Law) in 2023.

During her time at ASU Law, Gwendolyn gained a wide variety of legal experience by interning with the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and participating in a variety of non-traditional courses on Federal Indian Law and Tribal Advocacy in Washington D.C., Winnebago, NE, and Anchorage, AK. Additionally, Gwendolyn participated in the Indian Legal Clinic at ASU Law, assisting Tribal clients with a variety of legal matters including participating in two Wills Clinics to help members create Wills and healthcare powers of attorney documents. Gwendolyn was also a member and officer of both ASU Law’s Native American Law Student Association and Health Law Society.

Gwendolyn received a Bachelor’s from The Ohio State University in International Studies and French. Prior to attending law school, she worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Dayton, Ohio, and as a paralegal for an immigration law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.
