The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is inviting Tribal leaders to a consultation on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET to provide feedback on the President’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Budget request to Congress. The registration link is here. OMB is also accepting written comments submitted to tribalconsultation@omb.eop.gov by no later than October 14, 2022.
This consultation will allow Tribal Leaders to provide recommendations on the President’s FY 2024 Budget request as the Biden Administration begins to develop their recommendations. OMB has oversight over the entirety of the President’s Budget, so this is an opportunity to share cross cutting funding and policy priorities with the Administration for next year’s budget request.
The agency held a consultation in May 2022 on the FY 2023 budget request, and has provided follow up answers to some questions here.
